Skilled craftsmen distill the vodka four times, combining five centuries of tradition and expertise with the latest technology. Carefully controlled filtration completes the production process, resulting in one of the purest and smoothest vodkas produced in the world today.

Here are the comments our experts shared on this vodka.
Clear, full, viscous, textured, smooth. Nose offers mineral, stone, flint, herbs, grain, charcoal, spice and it fades slightly. Mouth echoes nose with added notes of vegetable and chocolate and taste becomes a bit tart and fiery. Still it is very smooth and quite attractive, with a long finish.
Smooth but not very silky in texture. Clear and irridescent, the flavor has a tangy, well-rounded character and a pleasing smell; not medicinal.
I found this vodka raw and a bit harsh. Pedestrian packaging.
This vodka is not in the Russian style, so it is not a personal favorite, though I recognize it as a very good product that will appeal to certain tastes. I thought the aroma was wonderfully fragrant without an alcohol smell, but the aftertaste of the vodka was a bit harsh. It has real flavor; you can actually detect the rye.
Strong medicinal odor. Thought I was at the doctor's office. Good clarity. Better on the palate than in the nose. Packaging unimaginative. Nothing special.
A bit of a bite.
Clean, pure, sligtly malty aromas with mild mint, camphor, creamy notes. Relatively creamy and smooth with medium intensity flavors of grain, mint, spices, coca, vanilla and white pepper. Pleasant and appealing with subtle rounded forward flavors. Package clean understated modern, like cork finish.
Reviews of Sobieski by visitors to the Vodkaphiles website
Our vodka experts are dispersed around the country, tasting the very best vodkas. We do not gather together in one place, engage in Groupthink, and otherwise influence one another's opinions. Each expert has their own tastes, preferences and quirks (but we share a tasting methodology). We feel all of this contributes to more interesting, honest results.
It is worth noting that, in our scoring, we use the full 100 point scale, not just the top 10 or 20 points of it. We don't believe in grade inflation, and we consider a score of 80 or above to be the mark of a fine vodka. The final scores tallied above are the average scores of our seven vodka experts from around the country.
