Taste of Russia 6 Pictures: Friday

Taste of Russia 6 began on Friday night (September 16) with our VIP Russian Dinner and Vodka Tasting at the Hotel Northampton. The Grand Ballroom was full of Russophiles as we tasted fine .RU vodkas and enjoyed the unveiling of the new McMahon Perfect brand, by Ed McMahon himself. Ed regaled us with stories of his time with Johnny Carson and explained how he got involved in the release of a premium vodka.

.RU and McMahon Perfect vodkas are made in Bryansk, Russia, at Amtel distillery, and imported by VMI Ltd. Amtel and VMI jointly own the rye fields, distillery and bottling plant, making .RU and McMahon Perfect estate bottled vodkas, where almost all of the spirit-making process, from planting to bottling, is controlled by the partnership.

All attendees received souvenir shot glasses and there were lots of door prizes, including crystal vodka tasting sets, and more -- all courtesy of .RU Vodka.

After dinner, there was singing and dancing and wonderful music by Barynya.
