TASTE OF RUSSIA 5 WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!

Even Hurricane Ivan could not stop Taste of Russia!

(But not for lack of trying!) Taste of Russia 5 brought some 3000 Russophiles from all over the country to Amherst, MA on September 17-18, 2004 for a weekend of Russian culture, entertainment, art, language and more!

A special thank you to all the volunteers and vendors and participants who made this event a huge success, in spite of the weather! We could not have done it without you!

Thanks to the generosity of visitors (who also got some great deals on sample books) to the Russian Life stand, over $190 was donated to the victims of the Beslan tragedy. Here is more info about the organization to which we sent the money.
